The Kernville Steak & Seafood House - Where Friends Bring Friends
The Kernville Steak & Seafood House

For a delicious, wholesome, reasonably priced dining experience, the Kernville Steak and Seafood House offers a unique, aesthetically pleasing setting complimented by warm, relaxed hospitality. You will be welcomed at the front door by the beautiful stained-glass heron seen here.

Owners John & Kathy Bingham offer great river views from most tables. The ever-changing panorama of the Siletz river will enthrall you as you feast on marvelously prepared steaks, seafood, sandwiches, soups, salads and scrumptious desserts from the kitchen.  Prime rib, their signature dinner, is available every night in 8, 12, or 16 ounce portions at reasonable prices.

Other great specials include a traditional Sunday dinner of Chicken and Dumplings, or perhaps you'd prefer to try their Chicken Fried Steak, "as big as a wagon wheel."  If seafood is your preference, their fabulous Dungeness Crab Cakes or Halibut Parmesan in either creamy Alfredo sauce or tangy Marinara might be for you.  The French Onion Soup, a historical favorite, is a robust classic, tempered with carmelized sweet onions and hearty red wine.

The Kernville cocktail lounge features an atmosphere of conviviality and a sweeping view of the Siletz River.  Located on the lower level, the lounge is known for its presentation of some of the finest musical talent in the Northwest.  For example, in October they will feature Ellen Whyte, a fantastic blues band from the Portland area (October 15), Sonny Hess & Lisa Mann, a tremendous blues duo from Portland (October 22) and Beth Willis, a Portland-based rock and blues singer (October 29.)

The Kernville Steak and Seafood House is open daily from 11:00 am and the lounge is open until midnight.  Lunch prices range from $4 to $12 and dinners are from $10 to $30.  Easy to find, the Kernville Steakhouse is one mile south of Lincoln City, on the Siletz Highway, 1/8 mile east of Highway 101, overlooking the Siletz River. Reservations are highly recommended, but not required.  To make reservations, call 541-994-6200 or go online at www.kernvillesteakhouse.com.
